Eric Degenfelder, CEO
Eric brings more than 20 years of experience in chemical and coatings business development, marketing and operations to U-C Coatings. Under Eric’s leadership, U-C Coatings will continue to grow as a trusted partner in logging and lumber production, wood products manufacturing and woodworking industries.
Eric’s career includes 12 years with DuPont Performance Coatings, where he led the industrial coatings business for North America and the coatings business across Asia Pacific, based in Shanghai. Prior to joining U-C Coatings, he served as Vice President of Global Product Management for Axalta (the former DuPont business), where he rebuilt the product line and launched products that brought new value to customers. Earlier in his career, Eric held positions at Air Products and Millennium Chemicals.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell and received an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern.
TIM CUTLER, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES
Tim Cutler brings to U-C Coatings over 25 years of business planning and strategic marketing in the coatings, sealants and adhesives industry. He was instrumental in growing his family business, Miracle Adhesives, which was later acquired by Pratt & Lambert. Tim’s strong acumen in business development led to increasing senior management roles at Pratt & Lambert as well as Shuman Plastics. His leadership style of relationship-building and collaboration serves to continue the growth of U-C Coatings and builds strong partnerships with our customers, our distribution networks, and the industries we serve.
KIM M. INGERSOLL, VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE
Kim Ingersoll has over 25 years of financial analytics and forecasting experience across a broad platform of industries including global manufacturing, global banking and healthcare. Kim has directed financial planning and reporting within HSBC Commercial banking segments supporting regional business partners. She held numerous financial management positions at Delphi Thermal Systems after starting her career as a Plant Product Controller supporting product manufacturing on the floor. In addition, Kim received her Green Belt Accreditation in Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing Concepts and her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Corporate Finance.
ALVARO OROZCO, DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL SALES
Alvaro Orozco, a native of Colombia, came to U-C Coatings with a background in international business. Previously working with global buyers interested in business expansion through US acquisitions, he joined U-C Coatings in 2014 as Director of International Sales. Since joining U-C Coatings, Alvaro has expanded our international presence in Europe, Asia and South America. He has been successful introducing the benefits of our wood protection coatings worldwide while training international distributors on the proper application and value of our products.
PAULETTE WELKER, CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER
Paulette Welker is a 20 year veteran of customer relationship management at U-C Coatings. A talented administrator, she has worked in various areas of customer service and as Traffic Manager for both domestic and International shipments. In 2006, Paulette was promoted to Customer Service Manager. In this position she oversees the customer service team, who maintain the important aspects of providing excellent customer service to our customers, as well as shipping operations and export processing.
MIKE D’AURIA, PLANT MANAGER
Mike D’Auria started in 1986 at U-C Coatings in a Production Utility position. Working every production job possible, he gained first-hand experience of every aspect of making quality coatings – from equipment maintenance – to raw material inspection – to production processes – to quality control. As production of wood protection products grew, he was named Production Supervisor in 2000. With his depth of experience and his ability to energize workers to produce at high standards, he was promoted to Plant Manager in 2011. He has overseen plant modernization and efficiencies to allow our production capabilities to grow with the demands of our business.
