For over forty years LiquidWood® and WoodEpox® have produced wood repairs that exceed customer expectations. Due to their incredible record of performance, ease-of-use, and predictable results, professionals and homeowners alike rely on Abatron’s epoxies when the stakes are high.
Up until now, one of the biggest limitations of LiquidWood and WoodEpox is the restriction imposed by cold weather. As is true for many exterior products, when the outside temperatures drop below 50° F, problems can arise.
Not any more.
Introducing LiquidWood Cold and WoodEpox Cold. These revolutionary new additions to Abatron’s offerings now allow for wood repairs to made even when temperatures dip all the way into the 30’s. The new formulations for these two products provide the workability, adhesion and overall performance that you’ve come to expect from LiquidWood and WoodEpox, while breaking the chains of the 50° barrier.
LiquidWood Cold is a 2:1 liquid epoxy consolidant, designed to prime and harden areas of wood that are ready to be filled. It works in temperatures as low as 35 degrees. It soaks into porous wood fibers prior to hardening, effectively adding strength and stability to damaged wood. LiquidWood Cold serves as a wet bonding agent for WoodEpox Cold and ensures that repairs will offer durable, long-lasting results.
LiquidWood Cold is packaged and sold in a 3-Pint Kit.
WoodEpox Cold is a 1:1 epoxy wood replacement compound which also hardens at temperatures as low as 35 degrees. It is easily mixed by hand and can be used to fill, rebuild, and replace missing wood. Its light-weight nature makes it ideal for both vertical and horizontal repairs and it can be applied in any thickness while still producing structural results. Just like WoodEpox, WoodEpox Cold is easy to sand, machine, and paint, just like wood, once it has cured.
WoodEpox Cold is packaged and sold in a 2-Quart Kit.
