U-C Coatings, LLC, a leading manufacturer of wood protection products, announces the appointment of Jason Goodman as a new representative to manage its southern territory.
Goodman joins the U-C Coatings team with 25 years of experience in the hardwood industry. His background includes working as a procurement specialist and yard manager at major hardwood and wood component manufacturers including Atlanta Hardwood, Hartzell Hardwoods and Seemac Lumber.
As a former lumber inspector, kiln operator and general manager, Goodman understands the importance of preventing end checking and the positive impact U-C Coatings’ products, such as Anchorseal®, have on the production of high quality lumber. Goodman will assist his customers in ensuring they achieve the highest yields with the least amount of waste. His territory includes Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
U-C Coatings’ products are used by both hardwood and softwood producers to prevent end checking, identify lumber species and manufacture furniture and architectural millwork. By using its products, customers experience greater yields, resulting in more profit and less waste.
